New Room

Hi there,

 I'm trying something new.

My friend and I moved in together and I have a new room.

I'm not great with decoration, but I love colors. The bed and the wardrobe are white which makes sorting out the colors for the rest of the room a much easier job.
For the bed, I went with a painting I made a couple of years ago and some fairy lights on the wall and around the bed boarders. The dreamcatcher fills the space on the wall next to the door that seperates my room and my roommate's.

On the opposite wall I intend to hang my smaller paintings. That is still a work in progress, but I'll get there some day.

On the oppsite side of the room, well, that's where the magic happens. The windows in the house are high and provide a lot of natural light, which the curtains turn into a warm color that adds a cosy feeling to the room.

My desk probably needs a tour of its own. For me, it is the essence of the room. Up on the wall I hanged a map and surroundered it with a warm white light that helps me study. More fairy lights are up there too. On the desk I have my books lined up, my coloring pencils and my pens in a basket, a clock that needs new batteries and my slightly too many candles.

In two words? Fairy lights, paintings and books. Some items are still missing, but I'll fix that soon. House tour next time? Let me know in the comments.
